Engin Uzunoğlu built the “Özel Ders Takip” app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Engin Uzunoğlu at no cost and is intended for use as is. 

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service. 

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. 

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at “Özel Ders Takip” unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy. 

Information Collection and Use 

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. Specifically, the information you enter into the app, such as student details, lesson schedules, and notes, is stored locally on your device. This information is not collected by me or transmitted to any external servers. 

To provide timely reminders and updates related to your scheduled lessons, the app may request permission to send you notifications. If you grant this permission, the app will use it solely for the purpose of delivering these lesson-related notifications. We do not collect personal data through the notification feature itself, other than what is necessary to trigger and display the notification based on the schedule you have set within the app. 

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Permissions 

To provide its full functionality, the Özel Ders Takip app requests the following permissions: 

•Internet (android.permission.INTERNET): This permission is required to access online services, such as displaying advertisements provided by third-party services (e.g., Google AdMob), and potentially for future features that may require network access. 

•AD_ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): This permission allows the app to access the Advertising ID on your device. This ID is used by advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob) to serve personalized advertisements. You can typically reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. 

•Post Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): (For Android 13 and above) We request this permission to send you reminders for upcoming lessons and other important updates related to your schedule within the app. You can manage notification preferences in your device settings. 

•Receive Boot Completed (android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): This permission allows the app to re-schedule alarms or notifications for your lessons if you restart your device. This ensures that you continue to receive reminders even after a device reboot. 

•Vibrate (android.permission.VIBRATE): This permission is used to provide haptic feedback, typically as part of notifications, to alert you to upcoming lessons or other app events. 

•Foreground Service (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE) and Foreground Service Data Sync (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC for API 34+): These permissions may be used to perform tasks that need to continue running even when the app is not in the active foreground, such as ensuring timely delivery of lesson reminders. 

Log Data 

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. This Log Data is used solely for diagnosing and fixing errors to improve the stability and performance of the Service. 

Cookies 

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory. 

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service. 

Service Providers 

I may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

Since all user-entered data (student details, lesson schedules) is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers, the primary security of this data relies on the security of your device itself. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security for any data that might be processed by third-party services (like Log Data or data handled by advertising providers).

Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. 

Children’s Privacy 

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, and if this information were somehow accessible to me (which it currently is not, as data is stored locally on the user's device), I would immediately delete this. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information through any means, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions. 

Changes to This Privacy Policy 

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes to this policy are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
